Artist Profile

Rosie SungKyong An ’17 Violinist
Rosie is a passionate violinist. She has performed many different genres of classic music with audiences. She is a student the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and studies with Ian Swensen. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in 2015 and receives her Master of Music degree in 2017 at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Born in South Korea, but she studied music in New Zealand with Dimitiri Alessansv. She moved to the United States to extend her experiences and studied with many great teachers. She had masterclasses with Pamela Frank, David Kim, Shirley Givens, Cornelia Heard, Eugene Drucker, Kurt Sassmannshaus, Peter Marsh and Cho-Liang Lin.
