Erin DeBakcsy began her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, and went on to receive a B.A. in German with a minor in music from the University of California, Berkeley. She received a M.A. in German literature with an emphasis on early 20th-century works from University of California, Berkeley, where she has also taught German language classes. Ms. DeBakcsy also enjoys playing the violin and has been a member of the La Jolla, UC Berkeley and Prometheus Symphony Orchestras.
