International Students
International students are eligible for consideration for scholarship assistance, based on the strength of the audition for admission as well as the financial circumstances of the applicant and the instrumental needs of the Conservatory. No international student will be considered for scholarship until all required financial documents have been submitted. These documents include: the Conservatory's Scholarship/Financial Aid Application, found in Part B of the Unified Application,
www.unifiedapps.org;
International Student Financial Aid Application and the
Institutional Certification of Finances for International Students.
It is important that international applicants be aware that the Conservatory's scholarship funds are limited and that Conservatory scholarships apply only toward tuition. We do not offer scholarship assistance for living expenses.
Tuition and fees for the 2009-2010 academic year are $33,280 USD. Even if you receive a Conservatory scholarship, you still must have sufficient funds to pay for any tuition not covered by scholarship assistance and to pay for all of your living and travel expenses. The Conservatory cannot issue an I-20 form that will secure you a student visa without acceptable financial certification.

There are loans available for international students from the International Student Loan Program (ISLP). The program requires a co-signer who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident living in the U.S.A. A student may borrow between $1,000 and the cost of education, less any other financial aid received. For more information about this program please visit www.internationalstudentloan.com.
