San Francisco native Davis Law has spent a large portion of his life affiliated with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  He studied violin with Zaven Melikian in the Pre-College division for eight years and in the Collegiate division for two.  He received his Bachelor's degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, studying with Dorothy DeLay and Hyo Kang.  He returned to SFCM to teach in the Pre-College and has been on its faculty since 1988.
