Existing Facilities at 50 Oak Street

  • Caroline H. Hume Concert Hall. A dramatic performance hall created in a renovated, historic grand ballroom. The New York Times said, “of all the classical music settings in the Bay Area, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s 450-seat Concert Hall . . . comes close to being ideal.”
  • Sol Joseph Recital Hall. An extraordinary, intimate modern hall seating 125 and specifically designed for chamber music, small ensemble performances and recitals.
  • Osher Salon. A versatile jewel-box for student recitals, ensemble performances, rehearsals, classes and lectures.
  • Other facilities include the Milton Salkind Terrace, Phyllis Wattis Atrium, Carol Pucci and Dixon R. Doll Baroque Studio, recording studio, Technology and Applied Composition studios, library, and percussion suite.
