Student Council

Become a leader among your peers.

Student Council

Were you the drum major, section leader, or head of the student council? We know your type, and you’re just who we’re looking for.

At SFCM, we like to start our students out with leadership opportunities sooner rather than later. The Student Council serves as the voice of the student body and liaison to the faculty and the administration. Members are elected on an annual basis and include a mixture of representatives from departments and classes, as well as an international student representative. The Council meets regularly with the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, communicates student concerns to the administration, and responds to issues raised by the administration. We encourage our students to bring their concerns to their elected representatives.
