What's cool about this evening of chamber music:

  • This concert is extra special: to invite you into the concert halls, select performances during the fall semester (like this one) are expertly filmed and feature special intermission content, including virtual artist meet-and-greets, composer interviews, and mini master-classes with top faculty.
  • A piece by acclaimed violist and composer Nokuthula Ngwenyama, a recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant.
  • Hear Dimitri Murrath, celebrated violist and Chair of the String and Piano Chamber department, and Ian Swenson, heralded violinist and Chair of the Violin Department, perform.
  • SFCM students, alumni, and faculty perform side by side.
