SFCM to Temporarily Limit Performances to the Campus Community

In light of concern over the coronavirus variant, SFCM will limit public audiences to the SFCM community through at least February 1, 2022.

January 4, 2022 by Mark Taylor

In an ongoing effort to protect the San Francisco Conservatory of Music community and the public from illness related to Covid-19 and the omicron variant, SFCM will suspend public audiences from attending all SFCM performances until at least February 1st. SFCM will also postpone its community day and open house at its new Bowes Center that was originally scheduled for February 12. A new date will be announced.

All performances in the meantime will be livestreamed, with links available in the Performance Calendar of the SFCM website. Performances will remain open to SFCM students, faculty, and staff to attend in-person.

We look forward to soon inviting the general public to all of our special performances and events at SFCM and our new Bowes Center.
