How do we share music?

SFCM students, faculty, and visiting artists shared music with nearly 20,000 audience members through a variety of virtual and live performances, including operas, full orchestral concerts, recitals, and many others.

SFCM Concert Truck

How do we engage the community?

SFCM partners with local organizations to provide in-person music instruction and mentorship to K-12 students attending local public schools and after-school programs throughout San Francisco. Additionally, SFCM musicians perform in schools, hospitals, retirement homes, children’s facilities, and other places where people of limited means and mobility are seldom reached. This year, we also leveraged our alliance with Opus 3 Artists to bring The Concert Truck to Civic Center plaza for a day-long series of concerts.
