One of the high-rises sprouting in San Francisco’s white-hot mid-Market district will provide a welcome new home for SFCM students. Last fall, the Conservatory announced plans to lease the top five floors of The Panoramic Residencies, a building with state-of-the-art amenities and green design at the corner of Mission and Ninth, just three blocks from campus. The Panoramic offers easy access to transit, farmers markets, stores and San Francisco's major cultural attractions including the Symphony and Opera.

The building will help foster a greater sense of community among the student body. Two-person studios and four-person suites come with expansive views, kitchens, space for practice and study, and creature comforts like flat screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Common areas include a lobby with a fireplace, lounge and grand piano, and a roof deck and garden. SFCM students will also have the chance to strike up friendships and collaborations with counterparts from the California College of the Arts who will occupy The Panoramic’s first five floors.
