Warren Deck at SFCM.
SFCM’s tuba department houses fewer than five students under the instruction of a world-class faculty professor with over 20 years serving at the New York Philharmonic (Warren Deck), and coaching by Peter Wahrhaftig of the San Francisco Symphony and Ballet Orchestra player. You'll have opportunities to perform with resident ensembles such as the Conservatory Orchestra and chamber groups, with emphasis on both classical and contemporary music, and to enter the Conservatory's brass concerto competition.
