Artist Profile

Dušan Bogdanović is one of the most recognized composer-performers among guitarists. He has composed works for the Pacific Dance Company, Turtle Island Quartet, and guitarists such as William Kanengiser and David Starobin. He published extensive theoretical work for the guitar covering improvisation and counterpoint in the Renaissance style. At home with classical, jazz, and ethnic music, Bogdanović brings his own style to the concert hall as he tours the United States, Asia, and Europe.
