What are you passionate about outside of music?

Bicycling, running, art, and photography.

Who were your major teachers?

Bill Douglas, Arthur Weisberg, and Elias Carmen.

What was the defining moment when you decided to pursue music as a career?

It was a natural progression — there was not one particular moment.

What was a turning point in your career?

The day I realized how hard I would have to work and how much I would have to practice.

Not a clue.
