Biography

Catalina is a performer, arts professional, and entrepreneur with a passion for music, storytelling, and strategic communication. 

After starting her career in vocal performance, Catalina earned a degree in Marketing with a minor in International Business, followed by a Global MBA where she studied in Ohio, Shanghai (China), and Jamshedpur (India). 

Currently, Catalina serves as the Senior Marketing and Advertising Manager at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM), where she applies her experience to advance the institution’s marketing strategies. Her professional background also includes roles with The Cleveland Orchestra, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and 42nd Street Moon Theater Company. She has also performed as a soloist in 42nd Street Moon productions (2020), a soprano in Encore (2020) and Susan in Tick, Tick... Boom! (2024) at the New Conservatory Theater Center.

With a diverse mix of performance and marketing experience, Catalina is passionate about combining creativity with strategy to help arts organizations thrive. She is excited to teach Expanding Digital Presence at SFCM and using her expertise to help artists grow their digital impact.
