This is a student winter term project presented by Zoe Lee. Winter Term is a two week period SFCM sets aside for students to immerse themselves in subjects beyond the standard curriculum. Students can explore a project they've never quite had the time for, get a head start in their career by developing a business or technical skill, finding fun ways to explore the world around us through music, or see what happens when they perform in a way they haven't before!
Performances during winter term are an opportunity for students to showcase what they have worked on during their winter term project.
Resonant States: An Immersive Cello Sound Bath Experience...
is an interdisciplinary event blending live cello and piano performance with breathwork, movement, and sound healing. This unique fusion of concert and wellness practice invites participants to lie down on yoga mats and experience music beyond traditional settings, fostering deep listening, relaxation, and mindfulness.
What to bring:
This is a floor-based, lying-down experience with no chairs provided. Please bring a yoga mat and any props for comfort, such as pillows, blankets, or an eye mask. We recommend dressing in warm, comfortable clothing.
The sound bath will last for an hour. After the event, warm tea and light snacks will be provided, offering a gentle transition back into the space.

Founder of Bilik Yoga Shala, a yoga studio in Cole Valley, Pudji Lestari is a 500-hour ERYT with over 1,000 hours of training and more than 1,000 hours of teaching experience. Her approach blends the wisdom of traditional yoga with modern breathwork, guiding students toward strength, presence, and self-discovery.
