Artist Profile

A violist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for over 20 years and a faculty member at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, Caroline Coade has made her mark as a performer and educator. She performs chamber music regularly at music festivals and with multiple ensembles, enjoying her instrument from multiple genres. Active as a teacher, she has given master classes at some of the country’s top music schools.
